The LAB at Rockwell - Oculus
Audio-reactive visual content for immersive display
I was approached by The LAB at Rockwell Group to create audio-visual content for a new installation they were building in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida called Oculus.
Within a month and a half I generated animated video content using Unity HDRP synced up to music by The Foo Fighters that would play at certain times. I used Unity to allow me to move fast and also utilize VFX tools I had already written.
Realtime VFX
All content I made in Unity using primarily VFX graph and C# scripts, the main reason being I didn’t have the time nor the compute to do offline renders given the timeline and scope of the project. In Unity I was also able to leverage different systems I had already worked to help speed up my workflow.
