Bloodbit
Live performance & album art
Brian Lee, also known as bloodbit, is an amazing electronic music artist and someone I collaborated with from around the 2017 - 2018 time frame.
Live performance visuals
One of our collaborations was lives for one of his Ableton Live performance sets.
Inspired by JRPG aesthetics, glitch, and hyperspace travel, I designed and built this real-time audio-visual performance inside Unity.
We projected on a short throw projector inside the studio space I worked out of at the time in Seattle.

The Price of Immortality EP art
I’ve created album artwork for several of his releases using Houdini and Redshift.
For The Price of Immortality EP, after listening to the album I developed a concept centered on the destruction and recreation of digitally voxelized organic worlds. I drew inspiration from the song titles, the album’s synthetic and complex digital music, and Bloodbit’s name itself — which I interpreted as combining digital information (bit) with human warmth (blood).

Transcending Fury song cover
One of my favorite album art commissions was Transcending Fury, created from the brief “Boss Battle.” I sketched a concept quickly, and the final render ended up closely matching that original napkin sketch.
